Abrasive Media Supplies Abrasive Blasting Rust inhibitor
Concentrated salt removing, flash rust prevention and de-greasing aid. Will remove all contaminates including salts, oil, and blast residue. Add to blast pot (wet blasting) and or use this product in conjunction with power/pressure washing for clean-up after blasting. Pressure washing after dry abrasive blasting, wet abrasive blasting or water jetting.
Flash rust prevention for approximately 48-72 hours. Often longer with no rain and temperatures above 5 degrees Celsius. After proper use surface salts such as chlorides, sulphates, nitrates, and all other salts are generally undetectable. Immediately soluble in water or hydrocarbon solvents such as mineral spirits and xylene. No-hazardous, non-toxic and non-flammable. Biodegradable, colourless and odourless. Phosphate and Acid free. Evaporates with the water (dissolved in) Surface priming allowable immediately after evaporation. |
For Wet Abrasive Blasting: Add AMS Flash Rust inhibitor to blast pot with water at a 200:1 dilution ratio. Also add to power/pressure washer water at 100:1 for final rinse off.
For Dry/Soda Abrasive Blasting: After dry blasting add AMS Flash Rust inhibitor to power/pressure washer at a ratio of 100:1 for cleaning off blast residue.
Storage
Store in a dry well-ventilated place at room temperature. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed. Do not store at a temperature below -4 degrees Celsius or above 50 degrees Celsius. Will store for 3 years if storage advice is followed. Disposal – local council advice for disposal varies nationally, contact your local council for advice. Empty and cleaned packaging can be recycled. (Dispose of the lid)

Precautions
Hard water, industrial or plant water, well water, poor quality potable water can affect the performance. Do not use salt or brack water.
